INSTRUMENT RATING

​TRAINING REQUIREMENTS 

Hold a Private Pilot Certificate.

Pass the instrument rating knowledge test.

Successfully complete the practical test giving by a FAA-pilot examiner.

​MINIMUM AERONAUTICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

50 hours of cross-country flight time as a pilot-in-command

40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time

15 hours of instrument flight training from an authorized instructor

250 mile dual cross-country flight, conducted under instrument flight rules 

​INVESTMENT 

The total cost includes: Hour Building required, flight and ground training, books and supplies, FAA written test and FAA practical test.
