Take your flying skills and your private pilot privileges to the next level.
This rating will allow you to fly in weather condition less than ideal for visual flight.
Hold a Private Pilot Certificate.
Pass the instrument rating knowledge test.
Successfully complete the practical test giving by a FAA-pilot examiner.
MINIMUM AERONAUTICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
50 hours of cross-country flight time as a pilot-in-command
40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time
15 hours of instrument flight training from an authorized instructor
250 mile dual cross-country flight, conducted under instrument flight rules
The total cost includes: Hour Building required, flight and ground training, books and supplies, FAA written test and FAA practical test.
