

PRIVATE PILOT
With your Private Pilot License you can act as a pilot in command carrying passengers or property, but not for compensation or hire.

PREREQUISITES
Be at least 17 years of age.
Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
Hold a valid student pilot and medical certificate.
INVESTMENT
MINIMUM AERONAUTICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
40 hours total time that includes:
At least 20 hours of dual flight training:
3 hours of cross-country flight training
3 hours of night flight training
10 takeoffs and landings at night
3 hours of flight training maneauvering the airplane solely by reference to
instruments
10 hours of solo flight time:
5 hours of solo cross-country time
The FAA minimum required hours for the Private Pilot Certificate is 40, but the national average is about 65 hours.

AVERAGE HOURS $ 15,610 (65 HOURS TOTAL FLIGHT TIME)
The total price includes: Flight and ground training, books and supplies, FAA written test, FAA practical test and medical/student pilot certificate.
